The UniVersus community is heading to Texas for the ultimate showdown! The 2025 UniVersus World Championship will be held:
Dates: February 27 – March 1, 2026
Location: Hilton Garden Inn at Silverlake Crossings, Grapevine, TX
Room Block: A dedicated block is available—reserve early to stay close to the action.
The Path to Worlds
The 2025 Competitive Cycle builds toward this moment, and your performance across Locals and Regionals will decide whether you take the stage in Grapevine. Players earn Champion Points throughout the year at qualifying Competitive events, and those points are your key to Worlds.
Here’s what makes this year special:
Every point matters. Champion Points from Locals and Regionals all add up toward your Worlds invite.
No player cap. If you reach the threshold, you qualify—simple as that.
Multiple invitation levels. Hitting the base threshold earns you a Day 1 invitation, while a higher threshold skips you directly to Day 2.
For example (numbers shown are illustrative only):
50 points might earn a Day 1 invitation.
200 points or more could lock you a Day 2 invitation, bypassing Day 1.
The Worlds Weekend Format
Worlds 2025 will span three days, blending high-stakes competition with nonstop community play:
Day 1: Day 1 invitees compete in Constructed Swiss to advance to Day 2. Players already holding Day 2 invites can jump straight into Side Events and community activities.
Day 2: Survivors from Day 1 join Day 2 invitees for another Swiss gauntlet, with the field narrowing to the Top Cut. Side Events continue throughout the day.
Day 3: The spotlight shines on the Top Cut, where the 2025 World Champion will be crowned. All Top Cut competitors also secure a Day 1 invite to Worlds 2026. Alongside the finals, a Worlds Qualifier will award early invites for the 2026 cycle, and the Prize Wall will be open for one last round of redemptions.
